In 1870, George A. Dickel used the pure water from Cascade Springs to distill his first bottle of Tennessee Whisky. Since 2005, I have had the privilege to serve as Master Distiller of George Dickel Tennessee Whisky. It is my job to uphold the same quality and attention to detail that ensures each drop is as remarkable and smooth now as it was when the first batch was made.
George Dickel Tennessee Whisky is a true treasure. Handcrafted and aged with exacting precision, George Dickel is made the old-fashioned way – the way it used to be and the way it ought to be. Through the process of milling, yeasting, fermentation and distillation, I maintain the production scheduling and taste testing that ensures the quality and smoothness that is expected from George Dickel Tennessee Whisky.
I invite you to Tullahoma, Tennessee to enjoy a free tour of our distillery to see first-hand how the perfect mash of corn, barley and rye is made for you to enjoy. Here, in Cascade Hollow, time isn't measured in hours, days or months, but in years. Patience is not only a virtue, but an essential ingredient in making the finest Tennessee Whisky.
